Eve Harvey
Eve Harvey is a fully qualified teacher, and has been in the financial world
since 1979. She started as a credit analyst and subsequently became a portfolio
manager responsible for a substantial in-house investment portfolio. She
undertook the asset allocation decisions and actively traded a portion of
the portfolio, using the derivatives market to hedge her positions.
For the past fourteen years, Eve Harvey has been a training consultant, firstly
for DC Gardner & Co. and since 1995 independently, including with Egan
Associates. She has specialised in the area of investment management, training
investment managers throughout the world, including the Far East, India,
Africa, the Americas and Europe and since 1992 she has been specialising
in the emerging markets. During this period she has also broadened her skills
to include exam-based training for both the CFA qualification and the New
York Stock Exchange regulatory examinations.
She has written four self-study workbooks published by Euromoney Institutional
Investor - International Capital Markets, Equity Analysis, Investment Management
and Credit for Private Bankers.
Eve Harvey is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers,
has a Certificate in Education (Further Education) and is currently preparing
for an MA in Distance and Open Learning.
